I was disappointed when I got this especially after a lot of people going on about how great it was, there's too much pigment and tends to go patchy if you use the slightest bit too much, when I use it I tap off the excess and wipe my finger over the brush and even then it's a bit too much lol, but it is a good drug store option: I can't say that I've once applied any of the dark shades as sculpting powders and been happy with the result: I currently use NC 37 Mac foundation.
The packaging is simple black plastic, and instructions for using the palette are included on the back. I opt for this shade if I'd like a more bronzed contour.
So you can see the powders better, I've taken the below shot indoors, with flash.

What this is, is a bunch of powders that give a remarkably good appearance of wehrpflicht deutschland frauen dating good-quality when you see, touch and swatch them, but then fall down when it comes to applying them to your face.
Personally, I'm not super confident contouring my nose so I've found these visuals handy. Unable to fight my curiosity, I succumbed to the hype and put my name down for one at my local Farmers. I was impressed at this touch, I can't actually think of many palettes I have received with an extra measure of protective packaging inside their boxes.
A matte pale yellow which can be great to counteract any unwanted dark tones under eyes and as a subtle highlighter on medium to dark skintones. Couldnt believe how strong the look was after using the greyish colour but otherwise most was up to its expectations.
Firstly, a little background information on my experiences with the two. The pigmentation can be double edged sword though as the contouring shades really aren't as blendable as I'd like. The powders are of an average pigment and are a bit thicker and more powdery.
Yes if you use a brush that doesn't pick up too much product and use it ever so lightly, you may fare slightly better but I guarantee that you'll still have issues at least some of the time. Tap your brush in once, tap off the excess and then apply to the cheekbones.
The third shade is an absolutely gorgeous shimmery rose, champagne highlighter shade which I apply to my cheekbones and also to highlight the inner corner of my eyes.

Would only recommend the powder one not the cream, however because it doesn't blend very well. Brown This is a great contouring kit.
I feel like the outer two shades are far too warm and red toned to be used to create definition on the face and that they could easily become difficult to look natural. Plus the powders are so pigmented that it's hard not to make mistakes, especially when it comes to the dark colours - these aren't for you if you're time-poor and don't want something that needs to be held with kid gloves.
I'm not sure if this shows how patchy the contour powders are when applied, but they are - and it's hard to get a soft line.

The three contouring powders are, however, a bloody nightmare to work with - even for people who have time to apply them carefully and who know what they're doing. All shades in the palette are matte except for one. Verdict There's quite a bit to say about this palette but I'll try to be as brief as possible.
They also want to sit in pores if you give them half a chance. It achieves a great effect and is super easy to use, even if the shades are crazy pigmented. All in all, I think this palette is worth picking up - but I wouldn't pay over retail for it. It can be done, or I wouldn't keep using this palette, but you need to use a light hand and blend as you go, building opacity as required.
Wait lists in shops, girls buying up all the palettes to onsell for a profit - it may be pretty common overseas but in NZ it's virtually unheard of. I definitely prefer the contouring shades in the ABH kit, however I prefer other highlighters to all of the shades in both the palettes for highlighting my cheekbones, down the centre of my nose etc.
Plus they're quite dark for a 'one size fits all' kit and they won't be suitable contouring shades for a good chunk of the population - and on top of all that, they have a tendency to look muddy. I am planning to buy Anastasia contour kit. Have you tried either of these contouring and highlighting kits?
I see what you did there, Australis. I got this palette in Light, and I mix the bottom left and the center contouring color to contour my face, cos the center color alone is too grey.
